Let’s Eat

Recently I found a new refreshing Korean Drama! It’s called Let’s Eat.

It tells about a woman in her 30s who loves to eat. So it is like a culinary show. The foods…OMyGod-ly looked delicious, plus their face expressions…make you drooling to the max! Caution: DON’T EVER ever watch this when you are hungry, or even when you are rather full, you will crave for those foods.

PS: I am going to grab some Korean foods with my friends this weekend at Myong Ga because of this drama. And why is it still wednesday??Β  T.T

By the way, the love story in between is amazingly hilarious. I don’t expect the love story will be that funny, since I got rather bored at first few episodes, but continued watching because of the foods. And as the story develops, it becomes more and more interesting and HILARIOUS thanks to Attorney Kim (Shim Hyung Tak). And one more person to thank to, is Choi Kyu Sik (the office secretary who is bald). His expressions and gestures are Daebak!

So, enjoy the show and happy craving!πŸ˜›

Japanese addiction!!

Dear Blog…

Sorry karena akhir2 ini saya… membelot! Huahahahahhaha..

Padahal header Blog ini udah saya tekankan dengan kata2 “my everlasting Korean addiction” tapi saya tiba2 beralih jadi Japanese addict. Zzzzz….

Mau,gak, mau, gak, akhirnya saya beli deh DVD nya. Dan hasilnya.. MEMUASKAN. Gak kayak versi Taiwan dan Korea yg ngecewain banget. Kotoko nya lucu bangett disini dan Irie berhasil banget meranin cowok dingin yg bener2 dingin. Dan ganteng. Huahahah..

Dan saya mulai browsing2 segala jenis film Jepang dengan search term artis2 Jepang favorite saya tentunya: Tamaki Hiroshi, Ikuta Toma, Mukai Osamu, Masaki Okada..

Nah, berkat Masaki Okada nih, saya jadi nonton satu film yg bener2 psychopath, judulnya Confession. Ceritanya bener2 gak disangka2, keren dalam cara yang berbeda, meskipun saya gak suka sih film psychopath gitu, tapi idenya memang brilliant. Ini ngingetin saya sama Battle Royale yg saya tonton jaman dahulu kala.

Satu lagi artis yang saya kebetulan temukan berkat browsing sana sini, yaitu Kengo Kora. He’s hott!! Tapi perannya kok banyak jadi orang freak yang suka bunuh2 sih =.=; Ada dua film dimana dia jadi pembunuh psychopath: Shotenin Michiru no Mi no Uebanashi atau The Life Story of Bookstore Clerk Michiru, dan Tsumi to Batsu: A Falsified Romance. Zzz.. Saya jadinya mesti nonton film2 genre begituan dong demi ngeliatin dia. :P)

Hahaha.. Tapi emang saya akuin agak lacking disana sini, but overall, yang nulis cerita itu bener2 BRILLIANT.

Habis itu gara2 suka ngeliatin Masaki Okada, saya terus nonton Otomen, yang mana agak membosankan. Ceritanya hampir mirip sama Hana Kimi. Tapi yg jauuuuuuhhh lebih bagus tentunya Hana Kimi.

Anyway, sejak main Hana Kimi jadi Sekime,yg mana peran yg agak gak penting, si Masaki Okada ini laris manis loh di dunia perfilman Jepang. List movie yg dia peranin panjang bangettt, ngalah2in Ikuta Toma yg mana perannya jadi Nakatsu di Hana Kimi JAUH lebih penting daripada Sekime. Hahaha.. We can never predict one’s shining period.

Dan kemarin ini, saya baru nonton Bokura ga Ita (We were There) yang diperanin Ikuta Toma. Jalan ceritanya sweet, mengharukan tapi gak selebay komentar2 di internet yg harus nyediain sekotak tisu lah, dll dsb. Nonton itu bikin kita pengen banget ngunjungin kembali sekolah kita bareng temen2 lama, suer!

Masih ada banyak nih, list film Jepang yg blum saya download (beli DVD JepangΒ  susah banget diΒ  Indonesia, lantaran kurang diminati kali ya? T.T) antara lain: Brain Man-nya Ikuta Toma, Saiko no Rikon-nya Eita, Fireworks from the Heart-nya Kengo Kora, Yellow Elephant-nya Mukai Osamu, BECK-nya Osamu n Mizushima Hiro, Manatsu no Orion-nya Tamaki Hiroshi.. DLL. DSB.

Sekian cuap2 dari saya. Sayonara. Mata aimasho~

In Time With You – Review

In Time With You

It has been a looonnnng while since the last time I watched any Taiwan drama. Korean wave is indeed amazing.πŸ˜› But recently, I gave it a try to this drama. In Time With You. And it’s GREAT.

It tells about a woman named Chen You Qing (Ariel Lin) who turns 30 but hasn’t had any boyfriend yet. She has a best friend, though, named Li Da Ren (Chen Bo Lin), which she knows since senior high school. Of course, Li Da Ren has a feeling for her this whole time, but he keeps it to himself and try not to love her, because he thinks she won’t ever love him, due to their friendship and her tough personality.

People come and go in their love life. Chen You Qing had a boyfriend when Li Da Ren was single. Li Da Ren had a girlfriend when Chen You Qing was single. And now, they are both single, and Chen You Qing begins to worry about marriage in her 30. But foolishly, Li Da Ren makes a bet: whoever married first has to give a big amount of ‘hongbao’/money present. (Why don’t you just tell her to be your girlfriend instead??!!)

Situation gets worse when Chen You Qing’s ex boyfriend, Ding Li Wei, comes back and wanna get along with her. THIS IS THE STARTING POINT. I don’t remember in which episode it started (but I do remember it’s the second piece of the total 3 DVDs), but from this point on, the story really excites me! I admit that I almost give up on this series because the few first episodes are really slow and boring.πŸ˜› And thank God I continued!

You will see Li Da Ren’s suffering and his huge hidden love for Chen You Qing. And everytime he wants to confess, somehow it fails, for some reasonable reasons (include the terrible tricky Ding Li Wei). But everything is WORTH IT in the end. The ending is PERFECT for the imperfect beginning. This series is very very very recommended to watch!!!

PS: For you who get bored in the first few episodes, please feel free to fast forward it until the existence of Ding Li Wei and enjoy! (Because I did the same :P)

PS2: The song which Li Da Ren sang for her is terrible (he is NOT a good singer, indeed :P) but the lyrics and the music is so sweet that I can’t get enough of this song these few days. The title is “Wo Bu Hui Xi Huan Ni”.

Nodame Cantabile – Indeed the Best Dorama Ever! *Mukyaa

nodame cantabile

A few days ago, I re-watched this series after a long time. Actually, I like to re-watch dramas that I list in my All Time Favorite. So, this time, its the x-times Nodame Cantabile re-watch session (too many times that I forget the x :P).

And… I’m SUPER enchanted, as much as the first time I saw this series. Actually I just wanna watch it a little bit in my leisure time, but I turn out to watch the whole series, until 4 AM! Indeed, the allure is too powerful to escape from. =.=”

These are the reasons why Nodame Cantabile is the best dorama ever:

#1 The Casts

The damn hot Tamaki Hiroshi as Chiaki-sama and the cute Ueno Juri as Nodame is indeed the top reason. But the whole other characters are as important as Chiaki and Nodame’s characters for me.

Masumi-chan is toooo hilarious! Can’t get enough of him!πŸ˜›

Mine Ryutaro and Miki Kiyora is very adorable together!! And Mine is such a great leader for an orchestra group. His charm is almost reaching Chiaki’s. Two thumbs up!

Stresemann is hilarious too. The way he talks and the pervert actsπŸ˜›.

Eto sensei / Harisen. He is the second male character I like after Chiaki. He has a huge charm in his age with that role.

The S-Oke members, Rising Star-Oke members (especially the Oboe player Kuroki-kun), Saiko, Mine’s father, and even the number two ‘famous’ in conducting department. I love them all!

#2 The Music

I looove the music very much in this series. I never realized that classical music is so enchanting. I downloaded all the soundtracks in this series and they will become my all time favorite OST, ever!

#3 The Technique

I don’t know anything about music instruments, but the way they play those instruments in this dorama seems very REAL! And the way they play them, the expression on their face, seem like a REAL professional! Four thumbs up to the dorama director and crews!!

#4 The Perfect Storyline

I haven’t seen any other Japanese Dorama that has a perfect storyline like this one. Not even a second I get bored. I laughed (a lot) and cried with them throughout the episodes. A really GREAT dorama ever!

PS: You will NOT regret watching this dorama. Try it!πŸ˜›

REASONS WHY “I HEAR YOUR VOICE” IS A MUST WATCH

This is EXTREMELY RECOMMENDED DRAMA TO WATCH!!!

These are the reasons why we MUST watch this…

#1 Lee Jong Suk – CUTENESS to the max! This is the main reason to watch this drama. And he is GREAT at acting, not just a mere flower-boy actor.

lee jong suk

#2 Noona-Dongsaeng Love – I love this kind of huge-age-gap couple. You can see the boy try hard to be a ‘man’ to protect his noona, but still, he is a boy anyway. And that’s cuter than a real man who acts like a boy.πŸ˜›

hye sung soo ha

lee bo young

#3 The Cases – This drama is similar to Prosecutor Princess. But this one tells about being a lawyer, not a prosecutor. And I found out that the cases in this drama are much much more touching than in Prosecutor Princess (which are mostly boring, I think, and I feel like the cases are just addition side stories to the main storyline). Maybe it’s because lawyers are ‘defending’ people, not ‘attacking’ like prosecutors do. I enjoyed every cases in this drama and didn’t skip any of them, like I did in Prosecutor Princess.

#4 The TEARS – I cried a LOT in this drama. But it’s not stressful to watch like a heartbreaking dramas. The scenes ‘touch’ your heart, not breaking it. You might cry at least once in every episode. And this drama taught me about life. I realize how blessed I am, compared to those people out there who are struggling very hard to live their life.

#5 The Third Party – I like this kind of kind hearted third party, not a tricky, annoying one.Β  Yoon Sang Hyun played it very well in here. (Although I briefly hated him in you-know-what-case-after-watching :P)

yoon sang hyun

#6 The rival – The rival too, is not a tricky one in here. Moreover, you might love her more and more as the story develop. And she is beautiful! (Played by Lee Da Hee)

Lee Da Hee

#7 Other people around – There is no ‘nobody’ in this drama. Everybody has their own meaningful part here. I like Kim Choong Ki (Soo Ha/Lee Jong Suk’s classmate) who hated Soo Ha in school because he lost to him in a fight, but turn to be kind to him then. And the cute Seong Bin who had crush to Soo Ha. And the kind police officer in Hye Sung noona’s rented house neighborhood. And that assistant in Hye Sung’s lawyer office (he played in Cheong Dam Dong Alice too as Park Si Hoo’s secretary). And the head lawyer Shin. And many more..

#8 The Ending – A great drama can turn to be bad with a bad ending. And fortunately, that’s not happening for this drama. Yey! I looove the writer! PS: the writer is Park Hye Ryun who wrote for Dream High too back then. Great job!
