REASONS WHY “I HEAR YOUR VOICE” IS A MUST WATCH

This is EXTREMELY RECOMMENDED DRAMA TO WATCH!!!

These are the reasons why we MUST watch this…

#1 Lee Jong Suk – CUTENESS to the max! This is the main reason to watch this drama. And he is GREAT at acting, not just a mere flower-boy actor.

lee jong suk

#2 Noona-Dongsaeng Love – I love this kind of huge-age-gap couple. You can see the boy try hard to be a ‘man’ to protect his noona, but still, he is a boy anyway. And that’s cuter than a real man who acts like a boy. πŸ˜›

#3 The Cases – This drama is similar to Prosecutor Princess. But this one tells about being a lawyer, not a prosecutor. And I found out that the cases in this drama are much much more touching than in Prosecutor Princess (which are mostly boring, I think, and I feel like the cases are just addition side stories to the main storyline). Maybe it’s because lawyers are ‘defending’ people, not ‘attacking’ like prosecutors do. I enjoyed every cases in this drama and didn’t skip any of them, like I did in Prosecutor Princess.

#4 The TEARS – I cried a LOT in this drama. But it’s not stressful to watch like a heartbreaking dramas. The scenes ‘touch’ your heart, not breaking it. You might cry at least once in every episode. And this drama taught me about life. I realize how blessed I am, compared to those people out there who are struggling very hard to live their life.

#5 The Third Party – I like this kind of kind hearted third party, not a tricky, annoying one.Β  Yoon Sang Hyun played it very well in here. (Although I briefly hated him in you-know-what-case-after-watching :P)

yoon sang hyun

#6 The rival – The rival too, is not a tricky one in here. Moreover, you might love her more and more as the story develop. And she is beautiful! (Played by Lee Da Hee)

Lee Da Hee

#7 Other people around – There is no ‘nobody’ in this drama. Everybody has their own meaningful part here. I like Kim Choong Ki (Soo Ha/Lee Jong Suk’s classmate) who hated Soo Ha in school because he lost to him in a fight, but turn to be kind to him then. And the cute Seong Bin who had crush to Soo Ha. And the kind police officer in Hye Sung noona’s rented house neighborhood. And that assistant in Hye Sung’s lawyer office (he played in Cheong Dam Dong Alice too as Park Si Hoo’s secretary). And the head lawyer Shin. And many more..

#8 The Ending – A great drama can turn to be bad with a bad ending. And fortunately, that’s not happening for this drama. Yey! I looove the writer! PS: the writer is Park Hye Ryun who wrote for Dream High too back then. Great job!

Lee Seung Chul “My Love” – The Sweetest Proposal Ever!

A must watch video clip!

This is a REAL proposal, not just an MV for Lee Seung Chul’s new song. He helps a man propose to his girlfriend, who he has dated for 8 years.

The MV rehearsals took over 12 hours with 31 different cameras, 50 actors, 40 members of the orchestra, and seven people from Lee Seung Chul’s band.

And here is that sweetest MV ever…

Top Ahjussi & Ahjumma in K-Dramas

Top Ahjussi : Ahn Suk Hwan

ahn suk hwan

Tapi pas Mong Ryong dituduh jadi kriminal padahal bukan dia pelakunya, papanya belain dia sampai2 ngelepas jabatan sebagai kepala polisi supaya si Mong Ryong gak masuk penjara. T.T huwaaa keren so sweet banget..

Selain Sassy Girl Chun Hyang, Ahn Suk Hwan pernah main di My Girl, Boys Before Flowers, Rooftop Prince, Big, Bridal Mask, dll (silakan baca di DramaWiki/ AsianWiki :P).

Top Ahjumma : Choi Ran

choi ran

Paling berkesan tuh pas dia jadi tantenya Gong Chan di My Girl. Dia baek n sayang banget sama Yoo Rin, apalagi di akhir cerita dia bantu ngeyakinin kakek Gong Chan kalo Yoo Rin tuh selama ini tulus sama mereka dan otomatis mempersatukan cinta Gong Chan-Yoo Rin yang dilarang. Yey!

Choi Ran maen juga di drama2 Sad Love Song, You’re Beautiful, Big, dll dsb (silakan baca lagi di DramaWiki/ AsianWiki klo penasaran :P).

Runner Up πŸ˜› : Uhm Hyo Sup!

uhm hyo sup

Fighting Uhm Hyo Sup Ahjussi!

Nangis Huwahuwa part 2

Lanjut lagi tentang nangis huwahuwa :P.

#1 Gu Family Book/ Kang Chi The Beginning

gu family book

Tau reaksi papanya?

Sepanjang jalan panjanggg orang berjejer buat menyatakan duka n rasa hormat mereka. T.T (banjir lagi) Bener2 sosok yang super berwibawa! Dia memang banyak banget ngebantu warga kurang mampu semasa dia hidup.

πŸ˜› Walaupun bukan jadi salah satu All Time Favorite saya soalnya belakang2 tuh banyak adegan gak pentingnya sih, kayak kebanyakan drama2 saeguk (kerajaan). Tapi endingnya tetap oke kok.

#2 Speedy Scandal

speedy scandal

Dia gak biasa banget kongsi2 kamar mandi bertiga, apalagi cucunya punya kebiasaan tidur berjalan πŸ˜› yg bikin dia sering jantungan malam2.

Endingnya… Tenang aja, cucunya nemu kok.

#3 Hello Ghost

hello ghost

Satu lagi film Cha Tae Hyun.. Nangis super huwahuwa.

Awalnya saya agak bosan sama alur ceritanya.

Top 10 Korean Drama OST Singer (Cathy’s Version)

Lee Seung Chul — His song “No One Else” / “Geureon saram ddo eobseumnida” is very very touching. Even for the ones who have never watched More Than Blue, can definitely feel the sorrow through this song. And he has sungΒ  many other OSTs til now. He is the former vocalist of Boohwal (Korean rock music band, formed in 1985).

Park Wan Kyu — I love his voice in “One Day of Love”, The Princess’ Man OST. The song is really match into the heartbreaking scenes in that drama. Park Wan Kyu is also the former vocalist of Boohwal.

(I think I MUST explore more into this band’s songs, since they ever have these great singers, and the band still EXIST nowadays! What a long period, and GREAT job, since there are too many ‘flower boy’ bands now :P)

Lee Seung Gi — My TOP IDOL! He is not only great at acting but also singing! πŸ˜› I love the Gumiho OSTs “Losing My Mind” and “I Love You From Now On” and the supercute “Hoi Hoi Song” XOXOXOXOXO.. His debut song is Because You’re My Woman, which is my all time favorite. And his other best songs are “Will You Marry Me?” (which is definitely gonna be one of my wedding songs later πŸ˜› :P) , “Love Taught Me to Drink” , “Unfinished Story” , “Smile, Boy”, and many many more!

Jung Yong Hwa — He is too, great at acting and singing! I love Heartstring OSTs “You’ve Fallen For Me” and “Because I Miss You” and You’re Beautiful OST “Because I Miss You”. Also his CNBlue songs “I’m a Loner”, “Love” etc.

HowL — I realized that he sings many lovely OSTs like “Perhaps Love” and “Aeng Moo Sae” of Goong, and “Love U” of Boys Before Flowers. Especially for “Aeng Moo Sae”, I have a deep memory about the parting scene in Goong when Lee Shin is taken by car to the prosecutor office and Chae Gyeong’s chasing after him while crying. Great scene with great OST!

K-Will — I love his voice in Brilliant Legacy OST “Love is Punishment” and Cheong Dam Dong Alice OST “Love Like This”. His voice is so touching!

Lyn — Her voice is so sweet! I love “Two As One” , the sweetest Gumiho OST. And she is great too singing sad song such as “Back in Time”.

Baek Ji Young — I think her speciality is singing sad songs, like “After a Long Time” in Rooftop Prince, “I Also Love You Today” in Princess’ Man and “Spring Rain” in Gu Family Book. Her voice has really high pitch, doesn’t it?

2PM — They sang the great OSTs for Dream High and 7th Grade Civil Servant. And maybe many more? Anyway, since they sing well, there will be many offering for them to sing OSTs in the future!

Seo In Guk — He is the winner of Superstar K season one. I love when he sang “Just The Way We Love” with Eunji in Reply 1997. It’s really a lovely OST!

Prosecutor Princess – My Favorite Scenes

This is one of my all time favorite K-Dramas. It tells about a super fashionable female named Ma Hye Ri (cast: Kim So Yeon) who is not-suitable-at-all but graduated from a law school because of her father’s coercion, plus her intelligence, of course. I like her character very much in this drama, in contrast to the one she played in All About Eve (in which she played a super-annoying antagonist role). And she dressed AWESOME! I love all of the clothes she wears throughout the drama, especially the heels she got from the auction.

The male protagonist is an attorney named Seo In Woo (cast: Park Si Hoo), who then falls in love with Hye Ri (of course). This is the first drama that introduce Park Si Hoo to me, and I fall for him immediately! It’s fortunate that I know him three years after the drama release date, because I can directly watch his following great dramas: The Princess’ Man and Cheong Dam-dong Alice without waiting curiously. It’s my habit. I watch all dramas or movie of my idol once I admire him, in which he stars as the main role, of course.

So, by the way, there are many scenes in this drama that I like very much. Here they are…

#1 Seo In Woo’s dropping tears in lift when Hye Ri’s leaving and the lift door closes.
Oh my God! It’s my most favorite scene ever! It’s simple, but very meaningful. I love how Park Si Hoo express his emotion when Hye Ri’s leaving. No words is needed. No excessive gesture. No excessive tears. And the background song is so damn match! Rate 10 of 10!!

#2 The message in the alarm clock for 77-year-old Hye Ri.
Hye Ri accidentally hears In Woo’s message in the alarm clock he gave her. He tells her how guilty he feels to hurt her, but he can’t even stop cause he is obliged to (to clear his late father’s name). And his wish for Hye Ri to meet a good man in her life and be happy.
“I hope you’re 77-year-old when you hear this. As in Titanic, tell your grand daughter, when you’re young, naive, immature, and beautiful, there was someone who makes your life ruined. But despite of all things he did, you could be happy and laugh now. I’m sorry. I’m sorry. I’m sorry…”
Sweetest message ever! And she hears that message in a damn-right time!

#3 The kissing scene after the alarm clock message scene.
Deep and long, after teary scene. Perfect!

#4 The bathtub scene. (Hye Ri screams when In Woo helps her from drowning)
This is hilarious. I watched it again and again, and I can’t stop laughing each time.

#5 The piggyback scene.
This is common, as many other K-Dramas have it. But this is why K-Dramas are so sweet. The protagonists always make sacrifices even when they hurt themselves.

#6 Other little stuffs like the bracelet Hye Ri gave In Woo when she still think that the one she loves is Prosecutor Yoon; the fishing hook with pail as their delivery media between the wall; the rotten tomato scene; etc.
The point is: all scenes in this drama are awesome.

So, for you who haven’t watched this drama, I recommend you to watch this immediately and you will fall for it too. And I think among the three Park Si Hoo’s dramas that I’ve watched, this is the best. Even though The Princess’ Man and Cheong Dam-dong Alice are great too.

Park Si Hoo, fighting! K-Dramas, fighting!!
